CelinaJaitley alleges she was forced to walk out of EmraanHashmi-starrer 'Aksar

Celina Jaitly, a former Miss India and Bollywood actress, recently revealed in an interview why she had to leave the 2006 film "Aksar" starring Emraan Hashmi. According to Jaitly, she was initially cast in the lead role opposite Hashmi but was later replaced by Udita Goswami.

Jaitly stated that the decision to replace her was made by the film's director, Anant Mahadevan, and the producer, Narendra Bajaj, without giving her a proper explanation. She believed that she was replaced due to her refusal to do a kissing scene with Hashmi. She also mentioned that her contract had a no-kissing clause, which the producers agreed to when she signed on for the film.

Jaitly further explained that she did not have any objections to kissing scenes as such, but she did not want to do it with Hashmi as he was a married man and a friend. She added that she respected her profession but not at the cost of her values and friendship.

The actress also revealed that she had a fallout with Mahadevan and Bajaj after being replaced and did not speak to them for years. However, she has now moved on and wishes them well. Jaitly is currently living in Austria with her husband and children and is focused on her philanthropic work.
